Animals are threatened with
extinction in Saudi Arabia
Endangered species are the types of
organisms that are likely to become extinct. That is set in the Red List of
IUCN, and endangered animal species facing a high risk in Saudi Arabia:
1. Arabic inventory "Arabian Jird":
Arabic inventory is a type of rodent
in the family Muridae found in Oman, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
2. Arabian Oryx "Arabian Oryx":
Arabian Oryx has a centuries-long
straight. Some say that the animal is a model of the legendary unicorn. They
are in danger of extinction because people arrested by their horns, live in the
deserts of Oman, Saudi Arabia and Jordan.
Arabian oryx likes to eat plants that
contain a lot of water, such as cactus. If they can not find these plants will
eat grass and roots.
3. Nubian Ibex "Nubian Ibex":
Nubian Ibex is one of the goats that
live in the desert, species found in the mountainous regions in Algeria,
Palestine, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Egypt, Ethiopia, Eritrea, Yemen, and
Sudan.
4. dugong "Dugong":
Dugong is a large marine mammal which
along with dolphins, is one of four living species Sirenia, dugong and
accurately is the only herbivorous marine mammals.
5. bat Geoffroy "Geoffroy's Bat":
It can be found in Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan, Algeria,
Armenia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria,
Croatia, Czech Republic, Macedonia, Montenegro, Morocco, Netherlands, Oman,
Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russian Federation, Serbia , Slovakia, Slovenia,
Spain, Switzerland, Tajikistan, Tunisia, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, and
Uzbekistan.
6. Sindh bat "Sind Bat":
Bats bond is a type of bats evening
star. It is found in Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, Oman, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and
Yemen.
